Student Volunteer Program

The Dekker Centre student volunteer program, provides meaningful opportunities for students to learn valuable technical skills in the performing arts in the lighting and sound engineering field. Students will have the opportunity to train with industry professionals on state of the art technical equipment, and work along side Bands, Musicians, and Performing Artists in the entertainment industry. 

Expectations:

• Be enrolled in school
• Be a student in grades 9 - 12
• Attend a training session
• A willingness to learn
• Must have permission from Parent or Gaurdian

As a student volunteer you are treated as part of the Dekker Centre family. Volunteers are warmly welcomed and encouraged to be a part of the technical process; it’s a combination of volunteer work and good times!
